Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 3 November 2026

1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of TrackLeadSource, a software service for lead source tracking on website forms, available at trackleadsource.com and app.trackleadsource.com. TrackLeadSource is operated by Augustinas Grupas (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, installing the TrackLeadSource snippet or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Definitions

  • “Service” means the TrackLeadSource software, snippet, dashboard, documentation and related features we provide.
  • “Customer”, “you” and “your” mean the person or business that creates an account and uses the Service.
  • “Website” means a website, including its subdomains, that you register in your account and on which you install the snippet.
  • “Visitor” means a person who visits a Website.
  • “Visitor Data” means any information about or from a Visitor that is generated on or collected through a Website, including source, medium, campaign, journey and page information, click IDs, and anything a Visitor enters into a form.
  • “Snippet” means the code we provide for you to add to the head of a Website.
  • “Account Data” means the information about you and your account that you give us or that we generate to run your account, described in section 7.

3. The Service

The Service is a self-serve system. You add the Snippet to your Website, add hidden fields to your forms, and connect those fields to your own CRM, spreadsheet or other tools, usually through tools such as Make or Zapier. When a visitor submits a form, the Snippet has filled the hidden fields in the visitor’s browser with the source, medium, campaign, source journey and pages visited it recorded for that visit.

The recorded information is kept in the Visitor’s own browser, using browser storage on the Website’s domain, and is written into fields on your own forms. It then travels wherever you send your form data. We do not provide a hosted store of Visitor Data. We do not receive, store, access or see Visitor Data or the content of your forms.

We provide the Service as a right to use software for the duration of your subscription. We do not provide an implementation, consulting or custom setup service under these Terms.

4. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the business you register for.
  • You must give accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You may register only Websites that you own or are authorized to track.

5. Trial, plans and payment

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial that starts when you choose a plan and complete checkout. A payment card is required to start the trial, and we do not charge it during the trial. When the trial ends, the first payment for your selected plan is taken automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. Accounts created before 3 November 2026 keep their trial without a card, and an active paid subscription is required when that trial ends.

Plans, prices, included numbers of Websites and the terms of monthly and yearly billing are shown on our pricing page and may change. A change in price does not affect a subscription period you have already paid for. A Website includes its subdomains. We do not count or limit form submissions.

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected period and renew until cancelled. If you start a paid subscription during the free trial, the first charge is made when the trial ends. The account owner can cancel at any time through the billing portal in the dashboard, and cancelling before the renewal date stops the next charge. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and we do not store your full payment card details. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase. You can request a refund of your first payment for a paid subscription within 30 days of that payment. After that period, and for renewal payments, refunds are available only where required by applicable law. Refund requests are made in writing using our published contact details.

If a subscription or trial is not active, the Snippet may stop recording and may fill the hidden fields with an inactive marker instead of tracking data. You are responsible for checking that your forms and downstream tools handle this.

6. Licence and restrictions

While your subscription is active, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own business purposes on the Websites you have registered. The Service is licensed and rented, not sold. We keep all ownership of the Service.

You may not:

  • copy, modify, resell, sublicense or rent the Service or give access to it to third parties outside your plan, except as an agency using it for client Websites registered in your account;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where the law allows it;
  • remove, bypass or interfere with the Snippet’s licence checks, Website limits or other technical controls;
  • use the Service to disrupt, overload or attack our systems or any third party;
  • use the Service in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.

7. Your responsibility for Visitor Data

You decide whether, where and why tracking is used on your Websites, which form fields are created, what is sent through them and where the data goes afterwards. You are solely responsible for all Visitor Data and for the use you make of it.

In particular, you are responsible for:

  • complying with all laws that apply to your Websites, Visitors and use of tracking, including data protection, privacy, electronic communications, consumer protection, marketing and sector-specific rules;
  • telling Visitors, in your own privacy and cookie policies or notices, that you track visit sources and journeys, which technologies and browser storage are involved, and for what purposes you use the information;
  • obtaining and recording any consent or other legal basis required before the Snippet runs or before data is passed on, and honoring Visitors’ choices and rights;
  • deciding which data is collected through your forms and not placing information in hidden fields that you are not permitted to collect or process;
  • the systems that receive Visitor Data from your forms, such as your CRM, spreadsheets and automation tools, and the agreements you hold with their providers;
  • any claim, complaint or regulatory action that arises from your tracking, your notices or your use of Visitor Data.

Because the Service does not receive or store Visitor Data, we do not process Visitor Data on your behalf, and these Terms do not make us a processor or controller of it. Nothing on our website is legal advice about your own obligations.

8. Data we do process

We process Account Data so that we can run your account and the Service. Account Data includes the details you give when you register, such as your name and email address, authentication information (including sign-in sessions with the IP address and device information of the person signing in, and sign-in data from Google if you use it), the Websites and domains you register, your plan, trial and subscription status, identifiers that link your account to our payment provider, and the dates your Websites were last seen using the Service.

When a Visitor loads a page that contains the Snippet, the Visitor’s browser makes a technical request to our servers to check that the Website’s licence is active. That request identifies the Website’s hostname and site ID. Like any request on the internet, it carries standard technical information, such as an IP address, that our hosting and network providers handle to deliver the Service. Our application does not store it, we do not use it to build profiles of Visitors, and it is not Visitor Data that we hold.

We use service providers to run the Service, including hosting and network providers (Cloudflare), a payment provider (Stripe), an email delivery provider for sign-in and account emails, and Google if you choose to sign in with it. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we receive information about the status of your subscription. We do not sell Account Data. Our use of Account Data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

The Service can be used with tools and platforms that we do not own or control, such as form builders, CRMs, automation tools, advertising platforms, AI assistants and payment and hosting providers. Their terms and policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them.

Guides and integration pages on our website explain how to add hidden fields and map them to other tools. They are guidance, not a statement that a third-party tool will work in every setup, and they are not native connectors unless we say so.

10. Accuracy and no guarantees

The Snippet records the source of a visit and the path to a form when the visit can be detected. No tracking method records every visit. Browser settings, content blockers, private browsing, consent choices, link formats, referrer policies, cross-device behavior and changes to your Website can prevent or alter what is recorded.

The Service does not calculate customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, lifetime value, revenue or lead quality, and it does not record what happens in chat apps, inside your own apps or on a blockchain. Outcomes such as qualified, won or lost are recorded by you in your own systems. Information produced with the Service, including any analysis you perform with AI tools, is not a guarantee of results, and you are responsible for the business decisions you make with it.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change, improve or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the core function of a paid plan, we will give notice where it is reasonably possible.

You are responsible for keeping the Snippet and hidden fields correctly installed, for testing your forms after changes to your Website, and for keeping a copy of any data you need from your own systems.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • track Visitors unlawfully or in a way that you have not disclosed where disclosure is required;
  • collect or transmit sensitive personal data, payment card data, passwords or credentials through hidden fields;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • distribute malware or interfere with the security or operation of any website, network or service;
  • create accounts or register Websites through false information, or share an account in a way that avoids your plan limits.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe that you are breaking these Terms or the law.

13. Intellectual property and feedback

The Service, the Snippet, the TrackLeadSource name and logo, our website and our documentation belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you only the right of use described above.

You keep all rights in your Websites, forms and Visitor Data. If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

14. Use of your name and logo

We will not use your name, logo or trademarks to identify you as a customer, or publish a case study, quote or result about you, without your prior permission. You can give permission, and withdraw it, in writing at any time. If you withdraw it, we will remove the material from our website and, where reasonably feasible, from our materials. We may describe how the Service is used by a type of business without identifying you.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not give any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement or that the Service will meet your requirements or produce a particular result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunities, arising from or related to the Service, even if we have been told they are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. If you used only the free trial, this amount is zero.

We are not liable for losses caused by your Websites, your tracking notices and consent practices, the tools you connect to the Service, or Visitor Data and the way you use it.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us, and to hold us harmless, against claims, losses, penalties and reasonable costs that arise from your Websites, your Visitor Data, your tracking and notices, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, or your agreements with third parties.

18. Term and termination

These Terms apply from when you first use the Service until they end. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You can also ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if payment fails, or if we must do so by law. We may also stop offering the Service with reasonable notice.

When your access ends, the Snippet stops working on your Websites and you should remove it. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and your responsibility for Visitor Data, continue after termination.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or from the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and the courts of Lithuania have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in, or have the law of, another country. Where you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.

Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us with a description of the issue and allow 30 days for us to try to resolve it with you in good faith.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new date, and where a change is material we will notify account holders by email or in the dashboard. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription.

21. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, together with any plan terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability: if a provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms stays in effect.
  • No waiver: a delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer the Service and these Terms, including your account and subscription, to a successor, to a company that takes over the operation of the Service, or as part of a business transfer. We will notify account holders where a transfer changes who provides the Service.
  • Force majeure: neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
  • Consumer and mandatory law: nothing in these Terms limits rights that you have under mandatory law where you are located.
  • Notices: we may give notices by email to the account address, in the dashboard or on this page.
